A school bus arch entrance and a blue carpet was laid to welcome the entire STS team with stilt-walkers and jugglers to entertain everyone. The day was packed with action right from sport competitions such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, tennis between team representing schools across Dubai to professional cheerleaders, bhangra dancers, bollywood and arabic performances all around the venue mading the ambience nothing less than a Premier League game-arena.It was a fun and relaxation day for the staff who otherwise are on their toes everyday ensuring safety of the school students. Fun-interactive games such as Dunk the MD, Sumo-Wrestling, Bungee-run, Tug of war were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
To make it more eventful, STS Got Talent showcased the most amazing talent, which looked ready to rock the Hollywood and Bollywood stage. The talent show was judged by: Thomas MD Road safety UAE, Steve Burnell MD STS, Harris MD from Swaidan trading, GEMS Modern School vice principal Ms. Celine Rebeiro
The awards ceremony began with the UAE national anthem and was followed by certificates, medals, trophies and cash prizes upto AED 5000 per individual. “This day belongs to you, we are here for you. Safe, Timely, Smart is the motto we all at STS share” said Steve Burnell, MD STS who himself has a dynamic personality with a vision to make STS the regions safest, timely & smartest leading transport services and transport management solutions provider. Awards were given for five different categories: Driver of the year, Bus guardian of the year, Distinguished service award, People’s choice award and Safety ambassador award. STS plans to keep rewarding their staff for coming up with ideas and options to enhance the overall productivity and service.
