Sustainability Embedded in Business Practice Leads to Breakthrough Change

US Leadership Deep Dive Comes to Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Thursday, July 26th 2012 [ME NewsWire]

Leadingmulti-national corporations world-wide have participated in the Leadership Deep Dive executive education program. In its first ever appearance in the Middle East, companies have the opportunity to experience an international leadership initiative without having to travel far beyond its country of operation, which implies a significant cost savings. CCM Consultancy and Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management present a high-level dynamic training through a panel of experts in Organizational Behavior and Development. In a region where sustainability and innovation are integral parts of many nations’ vision for future stability, this program enables professionals to bring about organizational efficiency and a solid leadership approach to catalyze performance meeting these vital goals.

The course is non-industry specific, allowing organizations the opportunity to optimize workplace performance. “[The program is] based on solid research of how to effect change in relationships by focusing on what you have control and influence over…yourself…and how by improving yourself, you are able to exert a powerful positive impact on others,” commented participant Mark Frey, Director of Engineering / Senior VPof Hixson Architecture Engineering Interior Design.

“There’s a competitive advantage in partaking in the Leadership Deep Dive. One of the topics is regarding sustainability and how companies ought to embed sustainable practices in their business objectives, rather than consider it an initiative to be added to the workflow. In this region and the world over, sustainability is a highly sought-after goal; this course trains executives on how to innovate and augment every aspect of their business leading to embedded sustainability throughout the entire organization,” remarked Edward Matti, CCM Consultancy Managing Partner.

The course was developed in the US and boasts a faculty of internationally-renowned experts. Limited to 50 people, participants will receive one full year of executive-level training and coaching. The program’s faculty includes: Dr. Richard Boyatzis, H.R. Horvitz Professor in Family Business and Distinguished University Professor; Dr. David Cooperrider, Fairmount Minerals Professor in Social Entrepreneurship; and Dr. Melvin Smith, Associate Professor, Organizational Behavior Faculty Director, Executive Education.

This one-year 9-day program is delivered in three separate 3-day sessions on September 24-26, 2012, January 28-30 and May 27-29, 2013. The leadership course will be held at The Address Hotel, located at the Dubai Mall.
