The
Human Resources Department, represented by the Department of Human
Resources Planning in Abu Dhabi Police Headquarters, marked the UAE’s
42nd National Day with a celebration, emphasizing that this auspicious
occasion embodies appreciation for the UAE’s glorious past, which paves
the way for a promising future.
Brigadier General Jassem Mohammed
Al Marzouqui, Deputy Director General of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi
Police, attended the celebration along with Brigadier General Salem
Shahin Al Nuaimi, Director of the Human Resources Planning Department.
Also present were Colonel Thani Butti Al Shamesi, Head of the Training
Department, as well as a number of commissioned, non-commissioned
officers, constables and civilians.
As part of the celebration,
the video clip of the poem titled “Al Zaeem Al Falahi” was screened by
the attendees. The clip is a gift from the MoI to His Highness Sheikh
Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, on the occasion of
the UAE’s 42nd National Day. A diverse set of photos was also displayed,
highlighting the Union’s myriad achievements, and the country’s
development and progress stages.
Brigadier General Al Marzouqui
extended his warmest congratulations to the country’s leadership, its
people and police staff members on this precious occasion that coincided
with the UAE’s historic success in besting the bids to host the world’s
most prestigious fair, Expo 2020. “This epic win builds on the
countless successive achievements that our State has been incessantly
making since its establishment 42 years ago by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin
Sultan Al Nahyan, who was a role model of sacrifice and generosity, a
legacy followed by H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Head of the
State,” added Al Marzouqui.
“These significant accomplishments
have been attained as a result of our wise leadership’s vision, and the
concerted efforts of all concerned in discharging their responsibilities
and their diligent endeavor to achieve excellence in all fields,” he
continued. He also congratulated the Abu Dhabi Police General
Headquarters’ staff members on receiving the Best Government Entity in
Human Resources Development Award, in the third Abu Dhabi Award for
Excellence in Government Performance; noting that this achievement stems
out of the Abu Dhabi Police’s excellence strategy.
Brigadier
General Al Marzouqui dedicated this success to H.H. Sheikh Saif Bin
Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. He
expressed his thanks and appreciation for His Highness’s continuous
support to spread the culture of excellence, innovation and fair
competition among staff members, so as to enhance security and safety as
per the best standards of quality and excellence.
Al Marzouqui
also praised the Director General of Human Resources’ keenness to
develop the directorate’s resources by providing all necessary
requirements, modern techniques, and developed programs to enhance its
human cadre’s educational and training skills.
At the end of the
celebration, Brigadier General Al Marzouqui thanked the department’s
staff members. He lauded their commitment and sense of responsibility to
promote the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters’ strategic values,
and acknowledge the achievements made by the grace of Allah for the
service of the country and its people, and the efforts to maintain
security and safety. Commemorative gifts were also distributed to the
department’s staff members.
