Al Kutbi: 218 Companies from 32 Country are Registered for ISNR 2014



Including Pavilions for Resilience Information Infrastructure

Major General Staff Dr. Obeid Al Kutbi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee for ISNR 2014 and the International Conference for Security Challenges, has stated that 218 companies have registered to take part in ISNR 2014 so far.

He stressed the importance of promoting the event through the media, explaining the prominence of this event and creating cultural awareness regarding the UAE’s position, the MoI’s message, and its efforts in rescue missions, firefighting missions, emergency situations, and in maintaining public safety. He praised the support coming from both the State and the Abu Dhabi government, and said that this support will help make the event a success.

It is worth mentioning that 117 companies from 18 countries participated in ISNR 2012.

Organized by the Ministry of Interior and REED Exhibitions, the International Security, Safety and National Resilience exhibition (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014) will take place on April 1-3, 2014, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC).

A meeting that was attended by Major General Al Kutbi was recently held at the Hilton Abu Dhabi Hotel where the organizers discussed the preparations for the exhibition, the opening event’s program, the joint plans being implemented by the organizing authorities, as well as the marketing plans for the exhibition. The meeting was attended by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations at ADP; Brigadier General Fares Khalifa Al Farisi, Director General of Guards and Special Tasks; Brigadier Saeed Salim Al Henki, Head of the Conference Committee; Brigadier Saeed Saif Al Nuaimi, Director of Abu Dhabi Police Purchasing and Warehouses Department. Members of the sub-committees, representatives from REED and representatives from the Abu Dhabi EHS Center also attended the meeting.

Major General Al Kutbi said that the exhibition is receiving a great amount of attention from local, regional, and international exhibitors, who aim to showcase the latest inventions and modern technologies from the security sector. He also explained that this attention asserts the fact that Abu Dhabi is a key international player when it comes to events and international exhibitions. He pointed out that Abu Dhabi has become the ultimate destination for all exhibitors, international companies, and investors both regionally and internationally. This is due to the achievements made in terms of safety and security, which has resulted in a state of stability.

Furthermore, Major General Al Kutbi said that ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014, which is an essential platform for people to learn about the latest security methods and specialized technologies, is an opportunity to share experiences and experiments. He said that companies’ interest in participating in the exhibition three months prior to its organization proves that ISNR is the most important event that specializes in security, safety, and emergencies.

He continued saying that ISNR 2014 will be attended by the best of specialized, local, regional, and international companies, which include Tawazun, International Golden Group (IGG), Advanced Integrated Systems, Mubadala Development Company, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), Emirates Advanced Investments, and Atlas Group, in addition to companies like MP3 International, Motorola Solutions, Smiths Detection, Thales Group, Harris Corporation, Morpho (Safran), Cassidian EADS, International Armored Group, American Science and Engineering Inc. (AS&E), and Elcom International.

ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 will feature specialized pavilions for Homeland Security and National Resilience, Information Security, and Critical Infrastructure Security. It will also feature two launch events: Fire & Emergency Middle East (FEM) and Occupational Safety and Health Middle East (OSH ME), in addition to the International Conference on Security Challenges, which is scheduled for March 31st, 2014.

The ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014 is expected to attract hundreds of exhibitors and senior security, safety, and risk prevention professionals from across the Middle East. It will also showcase advanced security solutions for establishments and vital infrastructure protection for government institutions, semi-governmental organizations, and private businesses.
