NAS holding to reveal its latest services

Saudi Arabia, January 10, 2011
National Air Services Company (NAS Holdings) revealed its new services in air transport field by launching "NAS Charter Services (NCS), Hajj and Umrah sector.

This was announced by Mr. Bandar Al-Mohanna, Deputy CEO of Nas Holding during the workshop organized by the company within the activities of the forum XII International for Umrah Services, hosted in Istanbul, on 8 -9 January 2011 and inaugurated by His Excellency the President of Turkey Religious Affairs Mr. Elgon Eugal and HE Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Abdul Wahab Sheikh, the forum will take place also in the cities of Damascus, Cairo and Casablanca during the period from January 11 to 28, 2011.


Al Mohanna added that "This new service will contribute significantly to enable the local and international Hajj and Umrah companies and establishments to incorporate its prices and committed schedules for Hajj and Umrah, based on the air transport important role in the implementation and success of these programs".


Mean while Mr. Ahmed Sultan Director General of bilateral agreements and relations of civil aviation in NAS Holding said during the workshop " nasair ( the smart choice airline) will launch in Turkey three new destinations covers the cities of Istanbul, Antioch and Adana during the first quarter of 2011, as will the city of Sohag, Egypt's to be the first inaugurated station for nasair in the beginning of the year 2011, starting first flight from Riyadh and Jeddah on 16 and January 18, 2011 respectively by two flights a week from each city.

It is worth mentioning that nasair Hajj and Umrah sector had succeeded to transfer more than 70,000 pilgrims from India, Pakistan, Cameroon and Senegal during 2009 and 2010 Hajj seasons, that success encouraged NAS holding to expand hat sector to be an independent entity within the umbrella of NAS Holding group of companies.
