The
Traffic and Patrols Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police will be closing
two lanes in both directions inside the Qasr Al Bahr tunnel on Sheikh
Zayed Road in Abu Dhabi. The closure will occur on Friday and Saturday
of every week for the coming two months. The lane closures are the
result of engineering works in the tunnel.
The Traffic and Patrol
Directorate stated that the closures will start on the mentioned days
of every week from 12:00 am on Friday until 4:00 am on Saturday.
The
directorate called on motorists who use the Qasr Al Bahr tunnel to
exercise caution and reduce their speed in order to ensure traffic
safety for all road users.
The Directorate of Traffic and Patrols
at Abu Dhabi Police urged motorists to pay attention while driving and
cooperate in order to ensure a seamless traffic flow.
