“Flashes of Thought” Distributed to the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector’s Employees

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Friday, October 25th 2013 [ME NewsWire]

The Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs Sector distributed copies of the “Flashes of Thought” book to its directors’ general, heads of departments and staff members. “Flashes of Thought” is the new book authored by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Through this gesture, the sector aims to offer its staff members the opportunity to leverage the insight, wise ideas and compendium of experiences on the art of leadership, and inherent patriotic work of an inspiring and path-breaking leader.  The book also draws universal lessons from personal anecdotes, leadership thoughts and humanitarian views to be adopted and implemented in real life.   This initiative embodies the police leadership’s commitment to boost the knowledge of the sector’s staff members and acquaint them with the personal journey of an Arab statesman who attained a prominent position on the world stage. The book covers a wide range of topics such as leadership strategies, institutional and individual work, in addition to innovation and creativity.

The Media and Public Relations Section at the Directorate General of Resources and Support Services also presented copies of the book to the directors-general and heads of departments across the sector.

“Flashes of Thought” is a collection of diverse reflections on the thought process, patriotism, work, positive energy, excellence, leadership, philanthropy and the objective:  to increase the ‘per capita happiness’ of the country.
