World’s leading Rheumatologist to present clinical research findings

The 2nd Abu Dhabi Advanced Rheumatology Review Course (ADARRC) will take place from 13-15th October, 2012 in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. This scientific educational event brings together 18 of the world’s leading Rheumatology experts to present and share their valuable clinical knowledge and their latest basic and clinical research findings in a review course. The ADARRC is a three-day scientific and educational meeting designed to keep participants/delegates at the cutting edge of developments in the fields of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology.
Dr Mustafa Al-Maini, MD, Msc FRCPC, Head of Rheumatology, Allergy and Clinical Immunology Department, Consultant Rheumatologist, Allergist, Clinical Immunologist, ADARRC Course Director at Mafraq Hospital is responsible for bringing this event to the UAE, adds “Mafraq Hospital and I were delighted with the success of the first ADARRC course which was held in Abu Dhabi in 2011. The course will cover multiple selected topics in pediatric and adult rheumatology as well as experimental innovative therapies presented by key opinion leaders in Rheumatology. It also allows rheumatologists to ask and discuss questions important to their clinical practice and exchange expert opinions, the review course is also offering workshops similar to the ‘meet the Professor session’ of the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) and the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) to tackle recent innovative knowledge and expertise on particular topics.
The Abu Dhabi Advanced Rheumatology Review Course is an annual event with an attendance of about 400 delegates each year from all over the GCC.
