The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters commemorated the Isra and Mi’raj this morning. The Cultural and Social Activity Section at the Clubs Department organized a religious lecture on the occasion. The lecture was delivered by clergyman Burhan Barez Bashi from the Community Police Department. The commemoration took place at the Abu Dhabi Police Officers Club Theatre in the presence of a number of officers and individuals.
Clergyman Burhan Barez Bashi said that the Isra and Mi’raj have a great value in the history of Islam as it reflects the divine grace bestowed by Allah All Mighty on his messenger Prophet Mohammed Peace Be upon Him. He also explained the great status of Jerusalem as the place of divine messages, the place where messengers headed towards in their prayers, and the place where Prophet Mohammed ascended to the heaven in the journey of Isra and Mi’raj.
