On the back of last year’s boisterous Onam festivities, Arabian Center is inviting visitors to the mall to participate in celebrating Vishu, the New Year harvest festival of the southern Indian, state of Kerala. Considered to be an auspicious occasion for Keralites the world over, Vishu will be celebrated at Arabian Center on April 12th between 6-9pm.
The mall’s visitors are invited to immerse themselves in loads of fun events like on-the-spot competitions to decide the best-dressed female and the best couple, among others. An array of fabulous prizes waits to be won on the joyous occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Tim Jones, COO, Arabian Center said, “We at Arabian Center take great pleasure in joining hands with our retail partner Lulu Hypermarket to organize this year’s Vishu celebrations.”
Heightening the festival mood will be a road show hosted by Hit FM from 7pm to 9 pm. Also on hand to entertain guests with Kerala’s rich cultural repertoire or Nrithya Shilpam will be special performances of the state’s premier dance forms like Mohiniyattam and Thiruvadira Kalli. Shinkari Melam or traditional drumming act will be another highlight adding to festivities at the mall.
