MoI Urges 46 Officers to take advantage of the “Qualifying Course “

Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior congratulated 46 officers who recently graduated from the “Qualifying Course” project.  He urged them to hone their skills with ceaseless practice and to take advantage of this new project implemented at the Ministry of Interior.

The project aims to upgrade the skills of newly graduated officers in key areas of police work, namely; criminal investigation; search and investigation; and traffic and patrols at all comprehensive police stations across the emirates of the State. This reflects the police leadership’s keenness to adopt advanced projects, and to develop state-of-the-art techniques to combat crime and enhance security and safety of the community.

In his meeting with the officers, recently held at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, Major General Al Nuaimi gave a testimonial about the practical and security expertise he refined and acquired during his tenure with the police institution. This bid aims to encourage the officers to seek further attainment and achieve the desired goals; being the first batch of graduates from the federal personnel who completed the qualifying course project.

The meeting was attended by Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Interior; Lt. Colonel Saif Hamid Al Dir’e, Director of the Leadership Development and Creativity Center at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister & Minister of Interior, and Chairman of the Qualifying Course committee.

It is noteworthy that the “Qualifying Course” project for newly graduated officers is one of the projects applied by the Ministry of Interior to achieve its strategic objectives related to better harness and develop its human resources.

The project is being executed and followed up by the Leadership Development and Creativity Center at the General Secretariat of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, in cooperation with the police general headquarters at the State level.
