Bilfinger Deutsche Babcock is pleased to announce the appointments of Hakan Yapici as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Stefan Herschler as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The appointments follow a strategic approach to further foster organic growth and introduce the full product portfolio of the Bilfinger group to the region. As managing directors of Bilfinger Deutsche Babcock Middle East, Yapici and Herschler will oversee the commercial and financial operations of the group’s operating companies in the Middle East, namely in the UAE, Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Hakan Yapici joins Bilfinger Deutsche Babcock Middle East bringing a wealth of expertise in the power and oil & gas industries. His experience ranges from the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of power plants up to the commissioning phase with various major international companies of the Power Industry.
Stefan Herschler joins Bilfinger Deutsche Babcock Middle East after holding various management positions for the last 10 years within the Bilfinger SE group. Most recently he was responsible for the Northern Europe Division of the Bilfinger International Construction Division as Finance Director.
