CPC backs drive to promote GCC transformation towards knowledge-based industrial production


Leading construction products supplier is a Gold Sponsor of the GCC Industrialists Conference and Exhibition to be held in Riyadh later this month

The GCC’s drive towards more advanced industrial know-how and technologies is set to receive a major impetus in the New Year as industrial leaders and technology manufacturers from around the world gather in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the 13th GCC Industrialists Conference and Exhibition.

Construction Products Holding Company (CPC), one of the region’s leading suppliers of construction products, has signed up as Gold Sponsor of the conference and exhibition, which will be held from January 17-19, 2012 under the auspices of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Themed "Knowledge-based Industries and New Technologies", the conference is being organized at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center by the Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON), and Federation of GCC Chambers.

“The conference aims to promote the transformation of GCC countries towards knowledge-based industrial production by highlighting the basic requirements needed and demonstrating examples of appropriate applications and models of successful knowledge-based experiments by some countries,” said Dr. Faysal Alaquil, Director of Business Development and official spokesman for CPC. “International industrial companies in the field will have an opportunity to exhibit their products at the accompanying exhibition.”
