Abu Dhabi Residency Authority Discusses the Registration of Tenancy Contracts with Municipalities

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi discussed with a delegation from the services sector of the Abu Dhabi Municipality the latest developments regarding the mechanism allowing the registration of tenancy contracts.

The discussions took place during a meeting held by Colonel Salim Al Qattam Al Zaabi, Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, with Sultan Mohamed Hweir, Head of the Registration Department in the Abu Dhabi Municipality and the accompanying delegation in the conference room of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi.

The convening parties discussed issues pertaining to tenancy contracts and their authentication and studied the registration of people’s units in addition to residences found in Khalifa A and Khalifa B cities, Mohamed Bin Zayed city, and Mussafah public accommodations. The discussions included the registration of tenancy contracts for companies in Mussafah industrial area and the worker accommodations offered by these companies.

Colonel Yusuf Ismail Khouri, Deputy Director General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi; Lieutenant Colonel Jamal Hareb Al Zaabi, Head of Entry and Residency Permit Department; and Nasser Awad Al Hamli, Head of Support and Communications Division in Abu Dhabi Municipality, were present at the meeting.
