David Greer OBE joins Serco Middle East as CEO

Serco, the international service company, is pleased to announce the appointment of David J. Greer, OBE as Chief Executive Officer for its business in the Middle East, India and Africa.

Greer began his career in the petroleum industry as a junior field engineer and worked his way up over the subsequent years through various oil and gas operating companies around the globe, taking project management assignments before serving as Managing Director and later Chief Executive Officer at major oil and gas and contracting corporations. Prior to this assignment to Serco, Greer oversaw the restructuring and growth of Al-Suwaidi Industrial Services, a provider of engineering and construction services, industrial fabrication and other oilfield services operations throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
