The Abu Dhabi Police GHQ recently organized the “Excellence Bites” Forum at the Hilton Al Ain Hotel.
Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director General of Al Ain Police Directorate, who attended the Forum, stressed the keenness to spread the excellence culture across the city of Al Ain, by providing a high standard of quality and excellence services. This would ensure that all police stations and departments are up to expectations, by improving services provided to citizens; following-up achievements, monitoring performance, developing administrative procedures, and increasing awareness on the excellence culture.
For his part, Colonel Thani Butti Al Shamesi, Head of the Excellence Culture Spreading Team at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, praised the success of the second “Excellence Bites” Forum held in the city of Al Ain. He emphasized that the positive outcome and significant success achieved by the Forum, encouraged the team to proceed as planned to launch Round 3 of the Forum in the western region on Monday, with a view to spread awareness on the concepts of distinguished performance, innovation and quality. Also among its objectives, the Forum seeks to reinforce the culture of excellence and exchange distinguished expertise among the different police bodies to promote the standard of performance.
The second “Excellence Bites” Forum in Al Ain featured poems by Poet Mosbah bin Ali Al Kaabi and Poet Arwa; , in addition to a scientific conference tackling institutional excellence associated with a religious and cultural aspect, delivered by Dr. Yasser Al Kahlawat from the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
Al Kaabi noted that Abu Dhabi Police has managed, through diligent efforts and experiences, to achieve institutional superiority based on implementing international standards of excellence. This was achieved through continuous performance development, within a framework of partnerships between members of society and partners, and through the commitment to spread the quality and excellence culture. Concluding, he commended the role of the Excellence Culture Spreading team in promoting the standard of administrative institutional performance.
At the end of the Forum, a number of quizzes on the excellence concepts were organized. Valuable prizes were offered to the winners.
The Al Ain Forum was attended by Colonel Seif Al Shamesi, Chief of the Cultural and Social Activities Section in the Clubs and Social Activities Department at Abu Dhabi Police; lecturer Dr. Yasser Al Kahlout; Poet Mosbah bin Ali Al Kaabi; along with a crowd of officers and civilians from Al Ain Police.
