Al Muhairi: Eager to Achieve a Corporate Culture that Supports Excellence

According to Major General Omair Muhammad Al Muhairi, Director General of Police Operations, the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters (GHQ) is keen to achieve a corporate culture that supports excellence and to improve their services for all segments of society as per the highest standards of quality and excellence. This is to be accomplished through improving the work environment of the comprehensive police stations in order to reinforce the ongoing development of the Abu Dhabi Police facilities.

During a field inspection visit to the Al Hili police station in Al Ain, Major General Al Muhairi emphasized the need to promote the culture of institutional excellence amongst the staff members of the various police stations. He also called on implementing Abu Dhabi Police’s strategic initiatives aimed at achieving the safety and security for all members of the community, which would realize the vision and goals of the Ministry of Interior.

Additionally, he urged staff members to do everything they can in order to develop the work and earn customer satisfaction through the provision of integrated services. Furthermore, the Director General of Police Operations directed them to take care of and to prioritize customers by providing convenient access to excellent police services. Moreover, Major General Al Muhairi encouraged them to leverage the training programs offered by the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ to promote their intellectual expertise. 

It is noteworthy that Major General Al Muhairi held an extensive meeting at the beginning of the visit with Colonel Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate. The attendees of the meeting included various directors of the comprehensive police stations, directors of police stations, and heads of sections and officers of the Directorate. During the meeting, Colonel Al Rashidi presented a detailed explanation regarding the police stations’ organizational structure and administrative units, the performance indicators for the second quarter of the year, and the operational plans and services offered to the public. Colonel Al Rashidi also highlighted the vital role of the police station and discussed the preventive measures that had been adopted to reduce crime as well as the results of measuring the satisfaction of staff members and customers with the police station.

Following the meeting, the Director General of Police Operations toured the police station, inspecting the facilities and workflow of the various sections and branches. Moreover he reviewed the progress of work and the extent to which the improvement opportunities have been applied in order to ensure the quality of work in accordance with the corporate culture that supports the achievement of excellence.
