Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, inaugurated the Eighth Knowledge Forum today, Sunday, in the hall of the Abu Dhabi Police Forensic Evidence Department.
The Secretary General pointed to the care and attention made to attract the speakers who are specialists in the areas that concern international security incidents. He said the forum is to provide an opportunity to enhance development efforts in the fields of police and security through the exchange of practical experiences and best practices. Maj. Gen. Al Nuaimi called for enhancing the scientific and field efforts of police officers in a bid to strengthen the fight against organized crime; and to further develop partnerships with local, regional, and international police agencies.
Keith Bristow, Director General of the UK National Crime Agency, gave a presentation on fighting organized crime; wherein, he stressed the importance of adapting capacities to cope with the subsequent risks associated with applying criminal investigation policy.
It is worth mentioning that the Knowledge Forums to exchange knowledge and innovative ideas, organized by the Knowledge Center at the Strategy and Performance Development Department; aim to spread the culture of knowledge across all sectors. Such a notion has become both a scientific and practical reality through the implementation of best practices. The forums present an ideal opportunity for participants to discuss, exchange views, and learn from unique experiences in a bid to share knowledge and develop further.
