The Managed Vortex Appliances are a flexible, scalable and fully customizable platform for Managed Services Providers, including Telcos and IT system integrators, who are looking for a cost-effective path for providing Managed Services data collection and forwarding, for their Enterprise and Medium sized Business clients. The Vortex line extends the successful MRM series introduced in 2013.
The Vortex M-series Managed Services Appliance provides distributed networking management, windows desktop device and usage monitoring, IT asset inventory, Log management and other functionality. It comes with hardened Linux and Windows stack on an Intel CPU platform. This allows the ability to add functional modules as needed. These modules can be open-source or proprietary products. The monitored client data remains backed up on the Vortex appliance on site or can also be replicated on a cloud backup platform.
“IT managers today are very reluctant to install proprietary agents on their devices due to privacy issues.
