Fujairah Police and Saaed to Reconstruct Traffic Accidents in the Emirate

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Monday, January 27th 2014

The Fujairah Police GHQ signed an agreement with the Saaed for Traffic Systems to implement its operational services in order to reconstruct traffic accidents in the emirate. This agreement is in pursuance of the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, to upgrade the mechanisms regulating traffic in the emirate, and adopt the best practices in the planning and the reconstruction of accidents. This initiative would garner public satisfaction, reduce response time, provide quick access to accident sites, and eliminate all the negative aspects associated with the reconstruction of traffic accidents, which places a great burden on security and traffic patrols operating the area.

Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed bin Ghanim Al Kaabi, Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police, expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to His Highness, the Ruler of Fujairah, for the plans to implement this project. “The application of Saaed’s operational processes would help to achieve the aspirations and strategies of the Fujairah Police GHQ, which aim to meet the best international standards in terms of traffic safety, and reduce traffic congestion caused by traffic accidents. This can be achieved by providing the best response times, finishing traffic accident reconstructions in the shortest possible time and manage traffic accidents sites, so as to reduce their negative effects on the traffic movement,” said Brigadier Al Kaabi.

The Commander-in-Chief of Fujairah Police pointed out the importance of the value-added service through the application Saaed’s operational processes to reconstruct traffic accidents; through the redeployment of personnel related to traffic regulation and accident reconstruction.“Part of the patrols currently operating in the field will focus on security work and intensify their efforts to combat negative behaviors, curb any security and community unbecoming conducts, and enhance security capabilities for combating habits foreign to society and crimes in all their forms,” added Brigadier Al Kaabi.

Furthermore, Brigadier Al Kaabi praised Saaed’s achievements in adopting technical solutions and modern smart systems that assist with traffic safety issues. He also praised its efforts to promote the level of safety and traffic awareness, leveraging its technical capacity and highly trained and qualified staff. “Such efforts contribute to meeting the coveted expectations of improving traffic performance,” concluded Brigadier Al Kaabi.

For his part, Brigadier Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police and Chairman of the Saaed for Traffic Systems, expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, for his noble gesture and wise vision to develop traffic systems in the Emirate of Fujairah. “Sheikh Mohammed strives continuously toward optimum performance so as to reach the highest standards of security on the roads and in the state. Signing this agreement with the Fujairah Police embodies this deep and insightful vision,” added Brigadier Eng. Al Harithi.

It is also an incentive to actively contribute and support the efforts of the emirate to improve traffic systems and enhance planning and reconstruction of traffic accidents, already implemented successfully in the emirates of Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Sharjah and Ajman,” noted Brigadier Eng. Al Harithi.

Al Harithi said that the company would make all the preparations and supply the equipment required to implement its operational processes in Fujairah, in terms of the number of patrols and participating teams, while providing techniques, modern systems, state-of-the-art software and manpower to achieve optimum performance. “This would allow Saaed to reach traffic accidents in a short time, plan and assess related damages, and estimate repair costs and damages.
