Saif Bin Zayed Inaugurates MoI E-services’ Centralized Database

Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired a meeting on Wednesday, at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ’s main building, to mark the launch of the centralized database for the Ministry of Interior’s e-services. This server provides a centralized e-database and supports the efforts of the Ministry of Interior’s sectors in establishing development plans, and improving quality and performance indicators.
Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Ka’bi, Head of the Customer Service Department briefed His Highness on the system’s work mechanism, its technical advantages and the services it provides to enhance development and modernization efforts at the Ministry. The briefing was attended by Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Acting Director General of Electronics and Telecommunications Services; Brigadier Mansour Ahmed Bin Hamoodah, Director General of the MoI’s Affairs; Colonel Mohammed Hamid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Strategy and Performance Development Director General et the Ministry of Interior; and Colonel Faisal Sultan Al Shuaibi, Head Director of Strategy and Performance Development at Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
Major General Al Raisi noted that the project reflects the vision of the police leadership aimed at providing policing services to customers electronically and streamlining access to these services hassle-free. “It also promotes the development of police work using the latest technology means with high quality standards,” added Major General Al Raisi.
For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Nasser Khadem Al Ka’bi indicated that the Centralized Database for the Ministry of Interior’s e-services supports the efforts of the competent authorities at the ministry in their quest to develop plans and strategies designed to improve the quality of services provided to the public. “This would achieve the Ministry’s vision, which is closely aligned with the Federal Government’s strategy. It would also allow optimal follow-up and response to service and grievances indicators, in a manner that contribute to the development process; as well as streamline customers’ access to information and data related to the ministry’s services,” pointed out Lieutenant Colonel Al Ka’bi.
Adding further, he explained that customers and interested parties can access the centralized database on the following link: www.moi.gov.ae/sd and browse through the list of services easily. Using this link, they can benefit from the wide array of provided services, getting acquainted with the services specifications, conditions and ways to acquire them.
The Centralized Base provides service-related data to all service provision platforms, and service seekers about the services provided by the MoI’s websites, smart applications, security media, call centers, and social media. It consists of a statistical database and a simplified and advanced search engine for customers, staff members, and supervisors. It also offers service centers maps and an effective and easy service assessment tool.
In conclusion, the Head of the Customer Service Department underlined that the Centralized Database constitutes a qualitative addition to the Ministry of Interior, which leverages the latest technical innovations and developments in a bid to enhance police services offered to citizens and residents and maintain leadership in service quality and ease-of-use.
