The
Ministry of Interior (MoI), represented by the Law Respect Culture
Bureau at the General Secretariat of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime
Minister & Minister of Interior, will be launching five legal
Ramadan Councils on Friday in Dubai. These councils complement the
initiative that started in 2012 to host such councils, as an effort from
the MoI to involve the UAE citizens and provide them with the
opportunity to discuss the important topics of interest to the public.
The
first Ramadan Council, held in the council of Ibrahim Abdul Malik, will
discuss the theme of United in Responsibility: “Youth and Stimulants,”
and will be moderated by media personality Hassan Habib. Major General
Khamis Matar Al Muzainah, Commander General of the Dubai Police, will
host the second Ramadan Council under the theme of United in
Determination: “Mohammed bin Rashid - triumph, victory and love,” which
will be moderated by the media personality Mr. Sami Al Reyami,
Editor-in-Chief, Emarat Al Youm.
Businessman Ahmed Abdulla Al
Sha’afar will host the third Ramadan Council under the theme of United
in Knowledge: “Smart Government- a luxury or necessity,” and will be
moderated by media personality Mr. Abdulla Al Motawa.
Judge and
Director General of the Judicial Institute, Dr. Jammal Hussein Al
Samiti, will host the fourth Ramadan Council with the theme of United in
Prosperity: “Prosperity through Innovation.” It will be moderated by
media personality Ali bin Saloum.
The fifth Ramadan Council, a
women’s council, will discuss the theme “Education from Indoctrination
to Creative Thinking.” It will be hosted by Mrs. Moza Saif Al Ameri,
Deputy Director of Family Development Department at the Ministry of
Social Affairs and will be moderated by media personality Mrs. Afra’ Al
Basti.
