Eid Al Fitr Working Hours Announced for Residency and Foreigners Affairs Departments

The Ministry of Interior announced the working hours at the various service departments at the General Directorates of Residency and Foreign Affairs; the sections dealing with the public; and all affiliated Naturalization Departments and sections across the UAE during Eid Al Fitr holidays. The working hours will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. except on Friday and Saturday at all customer service centers at these departments.

Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs said that a number of employees have been entrusted with the task to ensure a speedy completion of customers’ emergency and urgent transactions. This measure aims to deliver services to the public by avoiding work pressure and the expected rush following the Eid Al Fitr holidays. It also embodies the Ministry of Interior’s strategy to achieve the standards of quality and excellence in performance.

“This procedure comes in implementation of the Police Leadership’s directives that stipulate the need to upgrade the level of services provided to the public.  It also showcases our keenness to promote the principles of total quality and excellence in performance and to deliver distinguished services to community members,” he added.

Moreover, Major General Al Khaili stressed the keenness of the General Directorates of Residency and Foreign Affairs across the country to provide distinguished high quality services throughout the year, intensify activities during various events, and alleviate the burden on customers, so as to ensure a smooth workflow. He also urged the employees at those departments to redouble their efforts so as to provide better services to the public.

Major General Al Khaili extended his heartfelt congratulations and blessings to the higher leadership and the people of the UAE; praying Allah Almighty to protect the country and maintain the blessing of safety and security.
