For Getting an Award and a Global Certificate
ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Tuesday, September 10th 2013 [ME NewsWire]
Lt.
General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Interior, honors two distinguished work teams from the Ajman
Police General Headquarters. The honoring took place on Tuesday at the
Abu Dhabi Police GHQ. The first team obtained the Bronze Award (second
place globally) in a competition between 1,200 governmental and private
institutions in the International Stevie Awards for Customer Support in
the State of Nevada. The second team was honored for obtaining the
integrated management system certification ISO (ISO 14001-OHSAS
18001-9001) for quality, environment, occupational health and safety.
His Highness distributed certificates of appreciation to the two work teams and awarded them the Medal of Career Excellence.
His
Highness also congratulated the two teams and urged them to pursue
excellence and to exert further efforts in developing police work in
various areas.
The two teams granted the aforementioned award and certificate to His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Moreover,
the award-winning team gave an overview of its objectives and the great
competition between the applicants. His Highness also listened to an
overview from the team that contributed to achieving the integrated
management system certification in ISO and the evaluation stages for
obtaining the certificate.
The honoring ceremony was attended by a
number of officials including: Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far,
Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior; Major General Nasser
Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister of Interior; Major General Khalil Dawood Badran,
Director General of Finance and Services at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ;
Brigadier Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-chief of Ajman
Police; Brigadier Sultan Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Deputy
Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri,
Director - General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police;
Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His
Highness the Minister; and a number of officers.
The two work
teams expressed their pride in the accomplishment, which is considered
to be a Medal of Honor from His Highness. They also emphasized that this
honor is an incentive for them and their colleagues to compete and
continue to achieve the desired objectives, further excellence, and
reach higher levels in providing the best services to customers.
For
his part, the Commander-in-chief of the Ajman Police stressed the
commitment to implement the directives His Highness Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister of Interior to provide superior services to
clients in a seamless manner. The State’s progress is measured according
to these standards. He also noted that the awards and certificates
obtained by the Ajman Police came as a result of implementing the
strategies of the Ministry of the Interior and following the latest
scientific methods in application.
