Captain Hatim Natto, Pro-Drifter at “Mountain Dew Saudi Gear” racing team, is back to compete strongly over top positions for the “Saudi Drift” championship after winning 1st position in the 5th edition of the competition held in Reem International Circuit under the supervision of Saudi Arabian Motor Federation. The outcome put him in the 2nd position over-all with only 4 points away from the 1st.
Natto expressed satisfaction for the team's 550hp Mazda RX7, a unique car that holds international record numbers in this type of racing. "The support that I receive from the management of the Team and Mountain Dew must result in such great achievements, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all team members, Mountain Dew Company and Saudi Arabia Motor Federation for their efforts in giving this championship its classy national character, and last but not least the championship organizer Captain AbdulHadi Qahtani," he said.
Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Sofinai, Team manager, praised the performance of Natto in particular and the Team in general, and said: "Despite the technical problems which we encountered at the beginning of the season, we, thanks to God, managed to overcome them and get back to the race arena and compete over the top positions."

He also commended the efforts of Captain AbdulHadi Qahtani, the organizer of “Saudi Drift” championship, and said: "Despite the resources constraints, the championship organizer still amazes everyone with his successes round after round."
“Mountain Dew Saudi Gear” racing team is currently warming up to participate in the 1st round of KUDU Drift Championship that will be held in Riyadh this coming weekend, and everyone is feeling positive about it.
