At GESS Dubai, SIVECO launches Wand.education, an innovative application for enhancing the teaching process in the Middle East

Visitors to this year’s GESS will be the first to test Wand.education - the online lesson builder for teachers, which gives them an easy means of creating engaging digital learning activities

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, - Tuesday, March 1st 2016 [ME NewsWire]

At GESS Dubai 2016, SIVECO launches Wand.education – an innovative online lesson builder specially designed for K12 teachers which enables them to create interactive learning activities in minutes. The application has recently been shortlisted for the prestigious GESS Education Awards 2016, in the “Best Paid for ICT / App Product” category.

Wand.education gives teachers the power to create outstanding lessons with minimal effort, to deliver them to their class, and monitor students’ progress through smart reports. Wand.education is designed for teachers with little or no IT experience, its key elements being ease of use and flexibility.

“Wand.education is an innovative application designed to raise the quality of the teaching process in the Middle East. We have developed this product based on teachers’ needs, to engage students by using attractive and personalized high-quality educational content, and then monitoring their progress. We have decided to launch Wand at GESS, the leading educational hub in the Middle East, and we invite all high-level decision-makers and teachers to see it in action, try it themselves, and sample it free of charge in their schools,” says Alexandru Cosbuc, Deputy Vice-President at SIVECO and General Manager at Software Innovative Vision LLC.

During GESS, between 1-3 March, teachers can test Wand.education at the SIVECO booth, and get a free trial for their school. The application helps teachers to reduce the time spent in creating lessons from hours to minutes, to gain more quality time to spend with each student, and profit from interactive games and tasks that will instantly engage learners.

At SIVECO’s booth, visitors can also test other innovative eLearning solutions such as Augmented Reality applications that add value to traditional textbooks. Augmented Reality displays digital three-dimensional representations of images such as chemical element molecules, planets, or tectonic plates, which help students to understand some complex notions and develop their spatial intelligence by a considerable margin; this is the first step towards immersive learning.

SIVECO has an active presence in the Gulf region, where the company has been successful with eLearning projects that include 3D tools, Augmented Reality, educational software on mobile devices, phones and tablets – all tailored to specific market requirements. This the ninth year running that SIVECO has been at GESS Dubai, to showcase the newest eLearning solutions developed by its educational specialists.

GESS (Global Educational Supplies and Solutions) is the leading education exhibition and conference in the Middle East, organized annually at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE.
