Global Companies Shine Bright With LG's Digital Signage Displays

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Monday, December 23rd 2013 [ME NewsWire]

Businesses, whether small or large know the value of having captivating signage. LG Electronics (LG) continues to set the standard in the Digital Signage sector by developing the latest technologies to wow any crowd and deliver a message as captivating and clear as possible.
In 2013, LG displayed its strength in digital signage by unveiling a new digital signage product line – up that featured stretch monitors, transparent signage and ultra-definition large screens. The newly added products have helped propel LG’s display business:-the digital signage sales rose 330% in the first half of 2013 compared to sales from last year.
LG flagship digital signage displays have already proved a hit with local and international companies – providing signage solutions for different entities such as CBI Banking and Abu Dhabi police.
One of the breakout products that many companies are utilizing is the 55 inch Super Narrow Bezel Display (55WV70). This display has one of the narrowest bezels at 5.3mm allowing the public to see more and making this screen ideal for those who want a multi-screen layout.
As 2013 comes to a close and 2014 begins LG digital signage continues to push the limits by releasing an 84inch UD Display unit this month, followed by Stikus - an Interactive Digital Signage Solution geared for the education sector. The Stretch monitors, specialized for confined spaces will make their way to the market in 2014, followed by the LG 3D Thin Bezel Video Wall solution.
The new display units that make up the digital signage line feature IPS “superb picture quality” by utilizing various features such as the No Blackening Defect – a screen enhancement that limits the effect of light and heat on a screen.
The products also include True Wide – which ensures there are no color changes of distortions from as a person changes their viewing angle. Finally the screens include the Stable Panel which means that people or objects can continually touch the display without having to worry about leaving a mark. The 2013 line-up also has a low power consumption due to LG’s energy saving design and incorporates Shine Out which gives a clear picture even if there is direct sunlight on the display unit.
