On the Sidelines of the Arab Interior Ministers Council Meeting

Lt.
General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and
Minister of Interior met His Royal Highness, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed
bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of
Interior. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 33rd Arab
Interior Ministers Council Meeting.
During
the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance joint security action
between the two countries, and to strengthen cooperation and
coordination between the two ministries of interior, as well as a number
of issues of mutual interest.
His
Highness Sheikh Saif also discussed with a number of Arab Interior
Ministers, the means to reinforce Arab cooperation in police and
security fields, during separate meetings on the sidelines of the Arab
Interior Ministers Council Meeting.
His
Highness Sheikh Saif met separately with HE Sheikh Mohammed Al Khalid
Al Hamad Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior in
Kuwait; HE Major General Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, Egyptian Minister of
Interior; and Lebanese Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk.
During
the meetings, both side exchanges views on a number of issues of mutual
interest, and the means to promote cooperation in security fields. They
also tackled the different topics to be reviewed on the agenda of the
Arab Interior Ministers Council Meeting in the Tunisian capital.
