 استحوذت الشركة الدنماركية "بلو أوشن روبوتيكس" على حلّ الروبوت "بيم" من شركة "سوتابل تكنولوجيز"، أحد المزودين الرائدين عالمياً لروبوتات الحضور عن بُعد التي تتخذ من وادي السيليكون مقراً لها.

(بزنيس واير): أبرمت شركة "بلو أوشن روبوتيكس" مؤخراً اتفاقية مع شركة "سوتابل تكنولوجيز" الأمريكية، إحدى العلامات التجارية الرائدة عالمياً في مجال روبوتات الحضور عن بُعد، تستحوذ بموجبه على جميع الأصول والحقوق الخاصة بحل الروبوت "بيم". وسيتمّ إتمام الاتفاقية بشكل نهائي بعد استكمال الموافقات الرسمية في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.

Les Rapports d’IGI Annoncent une Croissance Améliorée du Produit Mondial Brut et une Croissance dans les Principaux Secteurs d'Activités selon les Résultats Semestriels de l'Exercice 2019

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- International General Insurance Holdings Limited a publié aujourd'hui ses résultats financiers pour le premier semestre de l’exercice 2019.

IGI a dégagé un bénéfice net de 13.75 millions de dollars pour les six premiers mois de l’exercice 2019, par rapport à 11.02 millions de dollars l’an dernier avec une augmentation de 12.2% des primes émises brutes passées de 165.87 millions de dollars en juin 2018 à 186.12 millions de dollars en juin 2019.

Le Groupe a enregistré ses bénéfices de souscription net de 25.88 millions de dollars pour les six mois clos le 30 juin 2019, une hausse de 9% par rapport à 23,75 millions de dollars en 2018.

IGI a enregistré une croissance dans la plupart des principaux secteurs d'activité, y compris l’assurance dommages, l’ingénierie, les ports et les terminaux et les services financiers ayant contribué le plus à la croissance en dollars.

Le rendement de capitaux sur une base annualisée pour la période close le 30 juin 2019 s’est établi à 8,7%, contre 7,2% pour la même période en 2018. La valeur comptable par action d’IGI a augmenté pour passer de 2.271 de dollars fin 2018 à 2.358 de dollars fin juin 2019.

Entretemps, IGI a enregistré les résultats du revenu de placement de 7,3 millions de dollars pour le premier semestre de l'exercice 2019, par rapport à 4,88 millions de dollars pour le premier semestre de l'exercice 2018.

(بزنيس واير): أعلنت اليوم الشركة العالمية للتأمينات العامة القابضة المحدودة عن إيرادات النصف الأوّل من العام المالي 2019.

وأعلنت "آي جي آي" عن أرباح صافية بقيمة 13.75 مليون دولار أمريكي للأشهر الستّة الأولى من عام 2019 بالمقارنة مع 11.02 مليون دولار أمريكي في العام الماضي، وارتفاع بنسبة 12.2 في المائة في إجمالي الأقساط المكتتبة من 165.87 مليون دولار أمريكي في يونيو 2018 إلى 186.12 مليون دولار أمريكي في يونيو 2019.

وسجّلت المجموعة إجمالي أرباح الاكتتاب بقيمة 25.88 مليون دولار أمريكي لفترة ستّة أشهر تنتهي في 30 يونيو 2019، ما ينعكس في زيادة بنسبة 9 في المائة من نتائج عام 2018 بقيمة 23.75 مليون دولار أمريكي.

وأعلنت "آي جي آي" عن نموّ في غالبيّة خطوط الأعمال الرئيسيّة، مع مساهمة كلّ من تأمين المسؤوليّات، والتأمين الهندسي، والموانئ والمحطات، والخطوط الماليّة أكثر من غيرها في النموّ بالدولار.

IGI Reports Rising GWP and Growth in Key Lines of Business in Half-Year 2019 Results

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- International General Insurance Holdings Limited today reported earnings for the first half of 2019.

IGI reported a net profit of $13.75 million for the first six months of 2019, compared to $11.02 million last year, and a 12.2% rise in gross written premiums from $165.87 million in June 2018 to $186.12 million in June 2019.

The Group recorded an overall underwriting profit of $25.88 million for the six months ending 30 June 2019, which reflected a 9% increase from the 2018 result of $23.75 million.

IGI reported growth in most major lines of business, with Casualty, Engineering, Ports & Terminals and Financial Lines contributing the most in dollar growth.

Annualized return on equity for the period ended 30 June 2019 came in at 8.7%, compared to 7.2% for the same time period in 2018. IGI’s book value per share has grown to $2.358 at the end of June 2019 from $2.271 at the end of 2018.

Meanwhile, IGI reported an investment income result of $7.3 million for the first half of 2019, compared to $4.88 million for the first half of 2018.

IGI posted a combined ratio of 92.84%, compared to 91.28% in June 2018.

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Visa (NYSE: V) today announced an expanded commitment to Paralympic athletes training for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games amid rising momentum and interest in para-sport competitions. With one year to go, the Official Payment Services Partner of the Paralympic Games and a Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Gold Partner, has signed five Paralympic athletes to its Team Visa roster and is supporting the Japanese Paralympic Committee’s launch of a donation-matching program for Visa cardholders in Japan.

A global Olympic partner for more than 30 years and the first and longest-standing global Paralympic partner (since 2003), Visa is also continuing to support athletes with the tools, resources and support they need through its Team Visa program, originally founded in 2000. Visa has again signed Oksana Masters, Paralympic athlete in cross-country skiing, biathlon and rowing (USA), as well as Daniel Dias, Paralympic swimming (Brazil), Aurélie Rivard, Paralympic swimming (Canada), Monika Seryu, Paralympic canoe (Japan), and Hajimu Ashida, Paralympic athletics (Japan).

Masters, with eight Paralympic medals in three different sports, will compete to medal in a fourth sport – cycling – at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. She was named the Women's Sports Foundation's 2018 individual Sportswoman of the Year.

Visa’s support for Olympic and Paralympic athletes also extends to leadership off the field with the Olympian and Paralympian Business Development Program, which gives athletes such as champion swimmer and cyclist Kelly Crowley exposure to different parts of Visa’s business that they may not have otherwise had.

The Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will feature 4,400 athletes competing in 537 medal events – including 1,756 slots for female athletes, the most ever, according to the International Paralympic Committee. The Rio 2016 Paralympics Games broke viewing records, with a record audience of 4.1 billion.

The JPC Athlete Donation Program with Visa

In Japan, the Japanese Paralympic Committee (JPC) will launch the JPC Athlete Donation Program for Visa cardholders and Visa will match donations made by Visa cardholders from August 25, 2019 to December 31, 2020 via the donation program page on the JPC's official website.
