AHS Properties is set to launch AHS Twin Towers, its new commercial development on Sheikh Zayed Road, following the AED 1.1 billion acquisition of Shangri-La Dubai. The property will undergo a major transformation into a Grade A commercial destination.

Positioned on one of Dubai’s most prominent commercial corridors, AHS Twin Towers will introduce a new architectural identity for the property. The project has been designed by Gensler, an internationally recognised architecture and design firm, with interiors by AHS Atelier, the company’s in-house design studio, bringing a bespoke approach to materiality, detailing and craftsmanship throughout the development.

AHS Twin Towers will comprise ground floor plus 50. The development will offer flexible Grade A office environments supported by an integrated mix of business, wellness and lifestyle amenities. More than 30,000 sq. ft. will be dedicated to wellness and fitness, alongside over 12,000 sq. ft. of culinary experiences and more than 1,000 parking spaces. The wider offering will include an elevated dining destination, a private wellness sanctuary with a dedicated lap pool, executive business lounges and a landscaped rooftop sky garden.

Abbas Sajwani, Founder and CEO of AHS Properties, said: “AHS Twin Towers represents our next major step in Dubai’s commercial real estate market. Businesses in Dubai are expecting more from prime commercial real estate than ever before. Location will always remain fundamental, but today there is a much greater focus on design, amenities and the overall experience a building can offer. By transforming Shangri-La Dubai into AHS Twin Towers, we are bringing these elements together at one of Sheikh Zayed Road’s most established addresses. Our aim is to create a workplace that reflects how companies and their teams want to work today, and to set a new standard for the commercial assets Dubai’s next phase of growth will demand.”

AHS Twin Towers builds on the track record of AHS Tower, the company’s first Grade A commercial development, which sold out for more than USD 700 million during development.

JERA Signs a Binding Heads of Agreement with AM Green for Long-Term Supply of Green Ammonia for Maritime Decarbonization

(BUSINESS WIRE)--JERA Co., Inc. (JERA) and AM Green Ammonia (India) Private Limited (AM Green) today jointly announced that it has entered into a Binding Heads of Agreement ("HoA") with AM Green regarding the long-term supply of green ammonia produced in India.

This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261027189014/en/

JERA and AM Green have agreed upon supply of approximately 70,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually over five years, with potential extension of term for additional supply.

The green ammonia is intended to be supplied through receiving, storage and distribution facilities being developed adjacent to JERA's Hekinan Thermal Power Station in Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

Green ammonia would primarily be supplied to a business venture jointly to be established by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha, which plans to utilize an ammonia bunkering vessel to supply fuel to ammonia-fueled car carriers.

This marks one of the first large scale green ammonia based bunkering initiative globally.

The green ammonia meets internationally recognized low-carbon standards and is benchmarked against the European market requirements.

Green ammonia will be produced at AM Green’s Kakinada facility in Andhra Pradesh, India, planned to be commissioned by 2028/29. The facility will be supported by AM Green’s innovative round-the-clock renewable energy architecture, reinforced by pumped-hydro storage, powered by advanced alkaline electrolysis technology.

This agreement advances the end-to-end low-carbon ammonia value chain JERA has been building across production, transportation, storage and utilization. It adds an additional source of supply and would extend the use of ammonia by JERA beyond power generation to maritime fuel, which will lead to the development of the infrastructure needed for broader ammonia utilization across Japan's industrial and commercial sectors.

The long-term procurement of green ammonia from India would add renewable-based green ammonia to JERA’s planned supply of low-carbon ammonia portfolio further strengthening supply security and resilience that allows end customers to match supply to their decarbonization needs.

The agreement marks one of AM Green’s first delivered-basis supply contracts in the Asian market and a milestone for the company as it pioneers direct delivery of green fuels to Japan.

This landmark agreement further strengthens AM Green’s position as a global leader in renewable ammonia production, accelerating India’s emergence as a major supplier of green molecules and establishing AM Green as a partner for Japan and the broader Asian energy transition.

Irtiza Sayyed, JERA’s Senior Managing Executive Officer and JERA Global Energy Solutions CEO, said: “This agreement is an important step in advancing a practical end-to-end lower-carbon value chain for Japan, anchored by our power generation business and serving a broader range of industries. Through our group structure, we combine JERA’s power generation and infrastructure platform in Japan with JERA Global Energy Solutions’ global supply capabilities. This allows us to connect diversified sources of ammonia with customer needs in Japan, contributing to Japan’s decarbonization goals.”

Mahesh Kolli, Group President, and Joint Managing Director of AM Green, said: " Our partnership with JERA marks another important milestone in AM Green’s journey to become a leading global supplier of renewable ammonia. This agreement reflects the growing demand for competitively priced green molecules from India and reinforces the strategic role of our Kakinada project in supporting Japan’s and maritime industry’s decarbonisation ambitions. By combining renewable energy, large-scale energy storage and advanced green ammonia production, we are building a reliable and scalable supply platform for international markets. We look forward to working closely with JERA to advance this partnership and contribute to the development of a resilient global green ammonia value chain."

Effort Inflation Puts Brand Loyalty at Risk, Netcracker/CSG Research Finds

2027 State of the Customer Experience Report shows customers turn to third-party AI for help, while effective automation and human support strengthen loyalty

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Netcracker/CSG® today released the 2027 State of the Customer Experience Report, which finds that “Effort Inflation,” the growing time, steps, and mental effort customers must use to engage with brands, is damaging trust and loyalty. The findings show that customers will stay with brands that make touchpoints faster and easier, ensure continuity across channels, and preserve access to human support when needed.

One consequence of Effort Inflation is the rise of a “shadow customer experience” layer, where customers turn to third-party AI assistants and personal agents to navigate brand interactions, pushing critical touchpoints out of the brand’s control. As more support journeys shift outside owned channels, brands risk losing visibility, context, and opportunities to build trust. This trend reinforces the need for connected, effortless experiences that maintain context across channels, resolve issues quickly, and strengthen loyalty.

Netcracker/CSG’s global survey of 1,800 digital citizens found that:

Customers are working harder to get help: 74% of consumers say resolving an issue with a brand takes as much or more effort than it did a year ago. One in five has recently given up on resolving a customer service issue because it took too much effort.

…and Effort Inflation damages loyalty: 86% say they’re likely to leave a brand when dealing with it takes too much work.

Ineffective chatbots and AI support put the burden on the customer: 81% say automated support takes more effort than traditional support. Forty percent say it has become more difficult to get chatbots to understand what they need, and 60% say that being routed to a chatbot feels like the brand doesn’t care about them.

…but effective AI can strengthen loyalty: 44% say they have stuck with a brand longer because its automated support effectively resolved a task.

Customers turn to third-party AI to avoid extra effort: 77% have used a third-party AI assistant to help resolve an issue with a brand, and one in four do so most or all of the time.

…and human support remains central to an effortless experience: Over half (52%) of customers who recently had an “effortless experience” say that talking to a human was part of what made it effortless. Yet 57% said reaching a live representative got more difficult this year.

“AI is only as good as the context behind it,” said Bob Titus, Chief Technology Officer at Netcracker Technology. “When customer data, interaction history, and workflows are scattered across systems, every new AI layer inherits those gaps and compounds the confusion. Our research shows that customers are running out of patience with repetitive, disconnected experiences, and they reward AI that actually gets things done. That makes connected context the deciding factor between the brands customers trust and the ones they abandon.”

Read the 2027 State of the Customer Experience Report to explore the full analysis and learn how brands can curb effort inflation, navigate shadow customer service, and balance human and AI experiences to win loyalty.

Methodology

Netcracker/CSG partnered with Wakefield Research to field a custom quantitative study of 1,800 “digital citizens”—people who have engaged with online services such as paying a bill online, using online customer support, making an online order, or using an online account. The study was fielded July 20–August 3, 2026, to respondents distributed across the regions of North America, Central & Latin America, and EMEA.

NTT DATA Expands AI Factory Footprint Globally to Help Clients Scale AI from Pilots to Production

 LONDON - Tuesday, 27. October 2026 AETOSWire

NTT DATA AI Factories help clients validate priority AI use cases, infrastructure, security, governance and economics before scaling into production.

The environments bring together NTT DATA’s full-stack AI expertise with technologies from leading ecosystem partners, including Cisco and NVIDIA.

NTT DATA AI Factories open in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- NTT DATA, a global leader in AI, digital business and technology services, today announced the global expansion of NTT DATA AI Factories, which provide hands-on environments where organizations can determine how priority AI use cases can be deployed, secured, governed and operated at scale. The environments help business and technology leaders evaluate AI workloads against real-world requirements including infrastructure architecture, performance, workload placement and cost.

NTT DATA’s market research shows enterprise leaders want greater confidence about performance and business value before scaling AI investments. For many organizations, the shift from AI pilots to production is stalled by infrastructure bottlenecks, governance concerns, security requirements and uncertainty around operational costs and performance. To help clients make deployment decisions with greater confidence, NTT DATA AI Factories bring together the company’s full-stack AI capabilities with technologies from leading ecosystem partners, including Cisco and NVIDIA.

These facilities demonstrate use-cases across employee productivity, customer experience, intelligent operations, cybersecurity, networking, software development and industry-specific business processes. Engagements also include discovery workshops, technical deep dives, proof-of-concept planning and solution design. The environments are underpinned by technologies from NTT DATA’s partner ecosystem including Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA, which provides a secure and scalable infrastructure foundation for enterprise AI.

“AI at scale is ultimately about turning intelligence into measurable business impact,” said Dilip Kumar, President, Technology Solutions, NTT DATA, Inc. “That requires organizations to balance innovation with responsibility and make informed choices about where AI creates value and how it can be deployed sustainably and economically. Our AI Factories help clients build that confidence before they scale.”

A global AI Factory ecosystem

The company launched new AI Factories this month in Paris and Singapore. These new sites join the inaugural AI Factory in Plano, Texas, and an AI Factory in Riyadh.

These four facilities complement the new NTT DATA AI Factory Munich, which launched October 7 in NTT Global Data Centers’ Munich 2 data center. This facility lets organizations test AI they own and control against their own use cases in Munich’s production-grade environment before making investment decisions.

Together, these facilities form a connected global ecosystem of expertise and capabilities that help clients move their AI strategy into production with greater confidence.

“Scaling AI goes beyond computing. Enterprises need a secure and resilient infrastructure foundation that spans infrastructure, security, performance and operations — while maintaining control of their data and AI economics,” said Cassie Roach, Global Vice President, AI Infrastructure & Connectivity Partner Sales, Cisco. “Cisco Secure AI Factory with NVIDIA, combined with NTT DATA’s global presence and expertise, gives organizations a strong foundation for moving AI workloads from experimentation into successful production.”

“Realizing AI outcomes starts with building the right AI Factory foundation with strong governance,” said Chris Barnard, Vice President, Networking and Infrastructure Services, IDC. “That requires infrastructure, data, security and operations to work together, supported by the right ecosystem of partners. NTT DATA’s AI Factory approach brings these capabilities together to help organizations build operational maturity, manage complexity and turn AI investments into business outcomes.”

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- TetraMem, a Silicon Valley-based pioneer in analog in-memory computing (A-IMC), announced the successful tapeout of MLX300, the world’s first 12nm A-IMC system-on-chip (SoC) based on multi-level RRAM technology. The SoC was developed using industry-leading EDA solutions enabled through Synopsys Cloud FlexEDA, and this milestone represents a major step in bringing this architecture toward advanced-node, production-ready computing.

“TetraMem’s architecture represents a fundamentally new approach to AI computing by converging memory and compute together,” said Glenn Ge, CEO and Co-founder of TetraMem. “Leveraging Synopsys EDA solutions through Synopsys Cloud have been instrumental in enabling efficient global collaboration and accelerating our path from research innovation to manufacturable silicon.”

The MLX300 tapeout follows TetraMem’s recently announced MLX200/MLX200M multi-level RRAM A-IMC SoC implemented on a commercial 22nm process, marking two successful full-mask tapeouts achieved in 2026. Both designs leveraged Synopsys EDA solutions delivered on the Synopsys Cloud FlexEDA, enabling highly efficient distributed development across TetraMem’s engineering teams in the United States and Singapore while significantly accelerating design productivity and iteration cycles. For example, TetraMem reduced their overall design environment bring up time from weeks to minutes, and achieved 3x faster Register Transfer Level (RTL) verification simulation relative to on-premises methods.

“TetraMem’s work in analog in-memory computing reflects the kind of bold innovation needed to unlock the next wave of AI performance and efficiency,” said Sanjay Bali, Senior Vice President of EDA Product Management and Strategy at Synopsys. “At Synopsys, we are pleased to support TetraMem with our cloud-enabled design solutions, advanced EDA technologies, and proven IP to help accelerate the development of next-generation AI hardware.”

TetraMem’s unique architecture enables scalable development of next-generation AI accelerators targeting dramatically improved performance-per-watt and reduced data movement bottlenecks. The MLX300 builds on that architecture as a versatile single-chip accelerator for audio, vision, and small language models, supporting up to 64 million INT4 parameters on-chip without external DRAM for model-weight storage. The SoC is targeting energy-efficiency of more than 50–80 TOPS/W, demonstrating the potential of RRAM-based analog computing to deliver significant efficiency gains for next-generation AI inference.
