Abu Dhabi Launches TAMM Global to Bring Its AI-Native Government Platform to the World

Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates -

Abu Dhabi has launched TAMM Global, a private technology company established to make the award-winning technology behind TAMM available to governments worldwide.

It is the first time the AI-powered platform, which serves 4.7 million users and is recognized as one of the world’s most advanced digital government platforms, will be available for international licensing and deployment.

The launch marks a significant milestone in Abu Dhabi’s ambition to become the world’s first AI-native government. It reflects growing international demand for proven technologies that can accelerate digital transformation while protecting sovereignty, regulatory compliance and public trust. It also demonstrates how homegrown innovation and intellectual property are creating opportunities well beyond Abu Dhabi’s borders.

Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, said: “TAMM was created in Abu Dhabi for one reason: to improve lives. Today, it serves millions of users and has become an integral part of how people and businesses interact with government. Through TAMM Global, we are building on that success by making capabilities developed and proven in Abu Dhabi available to governments seeking to deliver better outcomes for their people.”

Since launching in 2005, TAMM has evolved into the digital gateway to government services in Abu Dhabi. It combines more than 1,200 public and private sector services and saves each user approximately nine visits to government service centers per year – returning an estimated 12 hours to every person and business annually. TAMM currently achieves a customer satisfaction score of 94.5% – up from 78% in 2022, before AI was integrated into the app. It has also cut the cost of providing services by 30%, with most savings coming within the first year.

Services available through TAMM include setting up a business entirely through the app, including opening a business bank account, managing investment portfolios, renewing identity documents, completing vehicle registrations and accessing a wide range of everyday government services. TAMM AutoGov, announced in 2025 as the world’s first AI public servant, can proactively renew licenses, settle payments and book routine healthcare appointments without requiring users to initiate the process themselves.

Through TAMM Global, governments will gain access to the technology, operating model and implementation expertise behind one of the world’s most advanced digital government platforms. The platform includes a library of pre-built government services, journeys and digital capabilities that can be adapted to local laws, regulations and operating requirements, helping governments deploy faster and with less implementation complexity.

AI is embedded throughout the platform, including service discovery, automation, decision support, service delivery and AI-enabled service rendering. This allows governments to offer more proactive, personalized and efficient experiences.

Each deployment can be configured for adopting governments’ own languages, laws and institutions. TAMM Global supports multilingual and sovereign deployment models, allowing governments to retain full control over their data, infrastructure, policies and citizen services while benefiting from proven technology already deployed at scale.

The company will license the platform architecture, implementation methodologies and operational expertise that enabled Abu Dhabi to build and operate TAMM at scale. By combining pre-built capabilities with proven implementation methods and operating practices refined through millions of real-world interactions, TAMM Global can help governments accelerate deployment without having to build an equivalent platform from scratch.

As an independent private-sector company, TAMM Global will be able to partner directly with governments, organizations and institutions worldwide.

TAMM’s innovation and impact have earned international recognition. In 2025, it was named the world’s best e-Government initiative at the UN-backed World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Prizes. In 2026, it won the Government category across Europe, the Middle East and Asia in the Gartner Eye on Innovation Awards.

Terry Paule Takes SWIM to Abu Dhabi UN Water Conference

Philo Founder and Findex Co-Founder says SWIM will take the friction out of global water funding

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- World Economic Forum-recognised Aquapreneur Terry Paule, Founder of Philo and Co-Founder of Findex, will officially launch SWIM (Sustainable Water Impact Maps) at the UN Water Conference in Abu Dhabi on 8 December 2026.

SWIM is an AI-native water impact platform from Philo that connects funders with credible water projects and implementers. First previewed at Climate Week in New York in September 2025, it now has around 1,000 projects on the platform and is onboarding Fortune 500 funders, NGOs and implementers globally.

"The global water crisis cannot be solved alone," said Terry Paule. "Water is finally being recognised not just as a humanitarian necessity, but as a primary economic and investment priority. This is exactly why SWIM was built as an operating platform that could take friction out of the ecosystem and deliver real world, measurable results."

Water experts largely agree that no single organisation can fix a river basin on its own, yet most efforts still happen in silos, with small, scattered projects and thin funding. SWIM brings the sector onto one shared platform that shows who is active where, so funders and implementers can find each other in the basins that matter. It covers reduce, reuse, replenish and WASH projects across technology and nature-based solutions, drawing on 100+ data layers down to sub-catchment level.

Once a project is funded, PhiloX, the execution layer behind SWIM, supports contracting, funding workflows, verification and real-time, auditable impact reporting.

SWIM was developed by Philo, the Abu Dhabi-based parent company of Botanical Water Technologies, after its own projects in India and elsewhere showed how fragmented water funding is. The platform is free to join and use, with a one-off success fee only when a project is funded through SWIM.

Organisations can join at www.philox.io, or learn more about the launch here.

About SWIM
SWIM is an AI-native water impact platform from Philo that connects funders with credible water projects and implementers, with PhiloX as the layer that delivers, verifies and reports impact once a project is funded.

About Philo
Philo is a water technology and impact group headquartered in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) and the parent company of Botanical Water Technologies.

PeDRA 2026: Nemolizumab Phase II Data Show Long-Term Symptom Relief for Children Aged 2 to 11 Years With Moderate-to-Severe Atopic Dermatitis

ZUG, Switzerland - Thursday, 15. October 2026

  • Patient-reported outcomes from a phase II study of nemolizumab in children aged 2 to 11 with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis show meaningful reductions in itch severity, better sleep and improved quality of life, maintained for a year1
  • Currently, there are limited approved treatment options for children living with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, despite the high unmet need – the disease can significantly reduce quality of life for children and create burden on their families2-8
  • These findings expand on the clinical evidence base for nemolizumab, which has multiple global approvals for adult and pediatric patients 12 years of age and older with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, and adults with prurigo nodularis9,10

(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Galderma (SIX: GALD), the pure-play dermatology category leader, today announced new phase II data showing that nemolizumab provided meaningful improvements in itch, sleep disturbance, and quality of life in children aged 2 to 11 years with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, sustained through Week 52.1 The results will be presented at The Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA) Annual Conference.

Up to 25% of children are affected by atopic dermatitis - the most common inflammatory skin disorder in this population - and around one-third of these children have moderate-to-severe disease.11,12 Atopic dermatitis creates a high burden for both the patients and their loved ones, with persistent itch and recurrent skin lesions often disrupting sleep, school, and social confidence.2-8 Despite the high prevalence and significant burden, treatment options are limited in the pediatric setting for those with moderate-to-severe disease.3

“The burden of atopic dermatitis on children and their families remains considerable, with symptoms affecting quality of life, emotional wellbeing and day-to-day functioning. There is a continued need for treatment options that can deliver meaningful benefits for patients with moderate-to-severe disease. The results seen in this phase II study of nemolizumab are promising, with sustained improvements in itch severity, sleep disturbance and quality of life observed for up to one year.”

Delivering sustained improvements in itch, sleep and quality of life in children with atopic dermatitis

This phase II multicenter, open-label study assessed the pharmacokinetics, safety and efficacy of nemolizumab in pediatric patients aged 2 to 11 years with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, as well as patient-reported outcomes and quality of life.1 Children were enrolled into three cohorts based on age and weight, and received weight-tiered nemolizumab dosing plus topical therapy. Patient-reported outcomes and quality of life results demonstrated meaningful improvements in itch, sleep disturbance, and quality of life, sustained through Week 52:1

  • Improvements in itch were achieved early in treatment and sustained over one year of follow-up, with Peak Pruritus Numerical Rating Scale four point-response rates between 56%-72% across cohorts at Week 16, and similar and/or higher responses seen at Week 52.

  • Reductions in sleep disturbance as measured by the Sleep Disturbance Numerical Rating Scale were similarly achieved early in treatment and maintained through Week 52, with scores improving by -70 to -78% across cohorts at Week 16, and further improvements at Week 52.

  • Mean Children’s Dermatology Life Quality Index (for children ≥4 years) scores improved by -10.7, -12.0, and -12.0 from baseline at Week 52 across cohorts.

  • Improvements were also observed in both age-appropriate quality of life measures, including the Infants’ Dermatitis Quality of Life index (for children <4 years) and Patient-Oriented Eczema Measure (for children ≥4 years).

Nemolizumab was well tolerated, with no new safety signals. These phase II findings are consistent with the previously established safety and efficacy of nemolizumab in adults and adolescents with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis.9,10

“At Galderma, we are committed to advancing science-based solutions for atopic dermatitis, supporting patients and their families through continued research and innovation, with the goal of delivering treatment options that can meaningfully improve quality of life. These new data further support the robust clinical evidence we have collected on nemolizumab and underscore its potential to address the needs of a broader patient population, including young children living with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis.”

About nemolizumab

Nemolizumab is the first approved monoclonal antibody that specifically targets and inhibits the signaling of IL-31 – a neuroimmune cytokine that drives itch and is involved in inflammation, epidermal dysregulation and fibrosis in both atopic dermatitis and prurigo nodularis.9,10,13,14

Nemolizumab was initially developed by Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. In 2016, Galderma obtained exclusive rights to the development and marketing of nemolizumab worldwide, except in Japan. In Japan, nemolizumab is marketed as Mitchga® and is approved for the treatment of prurigo nodularis in adults and children aged 13 years and older, as well as pruritus associated with atopic dermatitis in adults and children between the ages of 6 and 12.15,16

Nemolizumab (under the name Nemluvio®) was approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of adults with prurigo nodularis, and patients 12 years and older with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, in combination with topical corticosteroids and/or calcineurin inhibitors when the disease is not adequately controlled with topical prescription therapies.9 To date, nemolizumab is approved for both adolescents and adults with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis and adults with prurigo nodularis in more than 40 countries around the world. Additional regulatory submissions and reviews are ongoing.

Nemluvio Important Safety Information

INDICATIONS: NEMLUVIO® (nemolizumab-ilto) is an interleukin-31 receptor alpha antagonist indicated for:

  • the treatment of adults and pediatric patients 12 years of age and older with moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis in combination with topical corticosteroids and/or calcineurin inhibitors when the disease is not adequately controlled with topical prescription therapies.

  • the treatment of adults with prurigo nodularis.

CONTRAINDICATION: NEMLUVIO is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to nemolizumab-ilto or to any of the excipients in NEMLUVIO.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS: Hypersensitivity reactions have been reported with NEMLUVIO use. If clinically significant hypersensitivity reaction occurs, immediately institute appropriate therapy, and discontinue NEMLUVIO. Avoid use of live vaccines during treatment with NEMLUVIO.

ADVERSE REACTIONS: Most common adverse reactions (incidence ≥1%) are:

  • Atopic Dermatitis: headache (including migraine), arthralgia, urticaria, and myalgia.

  • Prurigo Nodularis: headache, dermatitis atopic, eczema, and eczema nummular.

USE IN SPECIFIC POPULATIONS:

Pregnancy: There are no adequate and well-controlled studies on NEMLUVIO in pregnant women. The limited available information on NEMLUVIO use during pregnancy is not sufficient to inform a drug-associated risk of major birth defects or miscarriage in humans. Human IgG antibodies are known to cross the placental barrier; therefore, NEMLUVIO may be transmitted from the mother to the developing fetus.

Lactation: There are no data on the presence or transfer of NEMLUVIO in human milk, the effects on the breastfed infant, or the effects on milk production. Human IgG is known to be present in human milk. The effects of local gastrointestinal and limited systemic exposure to NEMLUVIO on the breastfed infant are unknown. NEMLUVIO has not been administered to nursing/lactating women. The developmental and health benefits of breastfeeding should be considered along with the mother’s clinical need for NEMLUVIO and any potential adverse effects on the breastfed child from NEMLUVIO or from the underlying maternal condition.

Pediatric Use: The safety and effectiveness of NEMLUVIO have not been established in pediatric patients younger than 12 years of age for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis or pediatric patients younger than 18 years of age for the treatment of prurigo nodularis.

Changan Automobile Accelerates Its “Vast Ocean” Plan: From the Paris Motor Show to “Firmly Rooted, Growing Together” in MEA

PARIS - Thursday, 15. October 2026

(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mondial de l'Auto 2026, Changan Automobile showcased the multi-powertrain line-up of its three brands – CHANGAN NEVO, CHANGAN DEEPAL and AVATR – under the theme “Firmly Rooted, Growing Together” presenting its global product portfolio and technology roadmap. Highlights include the European debut of CHANGAN NEVO Q05 and the world premiere of the AVATR CONCEPT T09, demonstrating Changan’s continued commitment to global collaborative R&D and product innovation. For the Middle East & Africa (MEA) market, Changan’s global product and technology resources will provide solid support for regional product deployment and localised development.

Rooted Locally, Growing Globally: Changan MEA Strategic Positioning

Changan’s development in the Middle East and Africa is closely aligned with the localisation philosophy at the heart of its global strategy, as the company continues to advance its transition from “product exporting” to “brand localisation.”

Through global collaborative R&D and regional adaptation, Changan is committed to responding to customer needs across different markets, continuously improving its products, channels and services, and driving long-term development together with local partners.

At the 2026 Changan Global Partner Conference, Changan Automobile announced its Vast Ocean Plan 2.0, its 2030 Global Strategy and its “1+4+4+5” strategic framework, setting targets of 1.5 million overseas vehicle sales and a top-10 ranking among the world’s automakers by 2030. The Middle East and Africa (MEA) is designated as one of the five priority strategic regions and an integral part of Changan’s global development footprint.

Beyond Exporting, Growing Together: Localisation Milestones in MEA

Changan entered the MEA market in 1994 and has since been deeply rooted in the region. In 2026, the localised footprint expanded further, with continued development across products, channels and services.

To date, Changan’s cumulative sales in MEA have surpassed 500,000 units. Its sales network covers core GCC markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, as well as African markets such as South Africa, Egypt, Tunisia and Algeria. Changan MEA’s dealer network spans more than 40 countries and regions.

Mr. Xiao, General Manager of Changan Automobile Middle East and Africa Business Unit, said: “Demand for high-quality, intelligent vehicles is growing rapidly across the MEA market. Changan will continue to deepen its localisation strategy and initiatives, refine its regional product and service portfolio, and honour its long-term commitment to serving customers.”

Global Synergy, Regional Progress: A Leap in Product and Technology Deployment

At Mondial de l’Auto 2026, Changan Automobile showcased a global product matrix spanning multiple brands and powertrains, underscoring its sustained investment in R&D, design and technological innovation. For MEA, Changan will efficiently align global product resources with regional product planning based on local customer needs and market conditions, while continuing to advance localised adaptation and the application of relevant technologies.

At the technology level, Changan brings its BlueCore Ultra Hybrid technology, covering HEV, PHEV and REEV to meet the diverse powertrain needs of regional customers, delivering low costs, energetic performance and a quiet driving experience. This technology system will serve as a core technology backbone for Changan MEA regional product line-up, empowering the all-new UNI-S HEV and EADO PLUS HEV, both scheduled for launch in Q4 2026, and will extend to future models across the Changan MEA line-up.

In terms of its regional line-up, Changan will continue to enrich its product portfolio. Models including the CHANGAN NEVO Q05, NEVO Q06, NEVO A06 and the DEEPAL S07 PHEV and S05 PHEV are scheduled to roll out progressively across the region, further refining the product line-up across market segments. Supported by global product resources and technology innovation, Changan aims to better meet the diverse mobility needs of local consumers. In response to the different climate conditions, road environment and driving scenarios across countries and regions, Changan will continue to advance product localisation, ensuring precise alignment between global R&D outcomes and regional customer needs.

ختام بطولة جاكارو كينغ في الرياض احتفالًا بالذكرى السنوية الثانية، بمشاركة اللاعبين المميزين

الرياض، المملكة العربية السعودية - الثلاثاء, 13. أكتوبر 2026

(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

Jackaroo King.

Jackaroo King Celebrates Second Anniversary with Players at Riyadh Tournament

RIYADH - Tuesday, 13. October 2026

(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jackaroo King brought players and spectators together at Al Nakheel Mall in Riyadh on September 19, 2026, for a tournament featuring second anniversary activities. The event combined team competition, live viewing and anniversary celebrations, giving the community an opportunity to share its enthusiasm for Jackaroo in person.

Rooted in classic Jackaroo rules, Jackaroo King combines strategic board game play with voice chat and teamwork, allowing friends to play and chat together online. The Riyadh event extended that experience beyond everyday online matches, creating a space where players could meet fellow enthusiasts, compete alongside teammates and celebrate two years of playing together.

Participants scanned a code to check in, find teammates and complete the group draw before competing within the Jackaroo King app. Matches appeared on venue screens, allowing spectators to follow the action as players considered their next moves and coordinated their decisions.

The format highlighted the balance between individual judgment and cooperation that defines Jackaroo. Players had to weigh card timing, plan their pieces’ movements and respond to opponents while supporting their teammates. Gathering in person added a shared social setting to those familiar tactical challenges.

Anniversary activities connected the venue with the app experience. Staff guided attendees through the activities, while 300 anniversary cards distributed at the event provided an entry point to the celebrations inside the app. This gave players another way to take part alongside the tournament and keep their anniversary experience connected across both settings.

The Riyadh gathering illustrated how a familiar board game can create common ground for conversation and connection. By bringing competition and anniversary activities together, Jackaroo King gave players a shared occasion to meet face to face and enjoy the community around the game.
