تُوّجت مديرية شرطة المنطقة الغربية ببطولة المشي للرجال (فوق 40 سنة) التي نظمتها إدارة الاستراتيجية وتطوير الأداء في القيادة العامة لشرطة أبوظبي، وحلّت في المرتبة الثانية مديرية شرطة المناطق الخارجية، وثالثاً إدارة مدارس الشرطة.

(BUSINESS WIRE)--Les fonds, d'un montant de 1 million de couronnes norvégiennes (environ 115 000 euros/129 000 dollars US), seront remis à des projets théâtraux dans le monde entier.

Les bourses d’études s'adressent à des particuliers, des organisations ou des institutions appartenant au milieu artistique et culturel.

Lignes directrices des bourses d'études :

    Les bourses d'études Ibsen récompensent des projets novateurs dans le domaine du théâtre et des arts de la scène.
    Les projets doivent encourager le discours critique portant sur les questions existentielles et sociétales abordées dans la vie et les pièces d'Henrik Ibsen.
    Les candidatures doivent être soumises par voie électronique via le site www.ibsenawards.com.
    Les représentations déjà jouées sur scène ne sont pas éligibles.

Les bourses d'études sont attribuées chaque année après un examen minutieux des dossiers de candidature par un jury désigné.

Les bourses d'études Ibsen ont été instituées par le gouvernement norvégien et seront octroyées pour la 8ème fois en 2015. Les Prix Ibsen ont jusqu'à présent accordé 26 bourses d'études destinées à des projets élaborés dans 21 pays.

Western Region Police Crowned Champion of the Men’s Race Walking Championship

The Western Region Police Directorate was recently crowned champion of the Men’s Race Walking Championship (in the 40 years and above age group). The Peripheral Regions Police Directorate ranked second, followed by the Police College Department in third place.

A total of 450 participants from Abu Dhabi Police’s staff members took part in the Championship, which was organized by the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ at the Abu Dhabi Corniche. It is worth mentioning that health tips and medical check-ups were provided on the sidelines of the championship by a medical team from the Medical Services Department at Abu Dhabi Police, in addition to distribution of health-related leaflets to both competitors and members of the public.

Participants at the championship included Major General Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Director General of Central Operations; Brigadier Ismail Al Sirkal, Deputy Director General of Abu Dhabi Police Central Operations; Colonel Mohamed Al Ketbi, Head of Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Anwar Al Mulla, Head of ICT Department; Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Head of the Forensic Evidence Department; and Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Al Ameri, Head of the Emergency and Public Safety Department; as well as a number of officers.

The Director General of Central Operations commended the high level organization of the Championship and the distinguished services provided to participants. Moreover, he hailed the efforts of the organizers who dedicate significant attention to sporting events that serve community members.     The Ibsen Scholarships award innovative projects in the field of drama and performing arts.
    The projects must act as incentives for critical discourse in regards to existential and society-related subject matters concerning Henrik Ibsen and his plays.
    Applications are submitted electronically through www.ibsenawards.com.
    Performances already staged are not eligible.

The Scholarships are awarded annually and the applications are subject to scrutiny by an appointed jury.

The Ibsen Scholarships were initiated by the Norwegian government and will be handed out for the 8th time in 2015. Ibsen Awards has until now handed out 26 scholarships to projects in 21 different countries.

The application deadline for The Ibsen Scholarships is April 30th 2015.

The winners of The Ibsen Scholarships 2015 will be presented at Skien International Ibsen Conference at Teater Ibsen on October 14. and 15. in Skien, Norway.
