أزيتو إينرجي تطلق أول محطة طاقة عاملة بعنفات الغاز ذات الدورة المركبة في ساحل العاج

(بزنيس واير): احتفلت اليوم "أزيتو إينرجي" ("أزيتو") بالإطلاق التجاري للمرحلة الثالثة من محطة توليد الكهرباء بعنفات الغاز ذات الدورة المركبة ("سي سي جي تي") باستطاعة 430 ميجاواط في أبيدجان، حيث نظّمت الشركة حفل إطلاق في الموقع حضره فخامة الرئيس الحسن واتارا، رئيس جمهورية ساحل العاج.

وتعتبر محطة "أزيتو" إحدى أحدث محطات الطاقة وأكثرها فعاليةً في غرب أفريقيا، وستقدم ربع (25 في المائة) من إجمالي السعة الحالية لساحل العاج من الكهرباء.

وتضيف المرحلة الثالثة التي تم إنشاؤها أخيراً من محطة "أزيتو" 10 في المائة إضافية من الطاقة الكهربائية الموثوقة بأسعار معقولة في الدولة.

ويصل إجمالي قيمة الاستثمار في محطة "أزيتو" للطاقة، متضمناً التوسعة الأخيرة، إلى 615 مليون دولار أمريكي، حيث تم تمويل المرحلة الثالثة من أسهم المساهمين، والقروض من هيئات التنمية الدولية والمشتركة.

وكانت شركة "هيونداي" للهندسة والإنشاءات المحدودة، وهي شركة مقاولات الهندسة والشراء والإنشاء، قد استكملت التوسعة مطلع العام 2015. وخلقت عمليات الإنشاء التوسعية في ذروتها أكثر من 1,300 فرصة عمل، شغل أكثر من 60 في المائة منها القوى العاملة المحلية.

Azito Energie Inaugurates Côte d’Ivoire’s First Operational CCGT Power Plant

ABIDJAN, Côte d’Ivoire. - Wednesday, July 1st 2015 [ME NewsWire]

(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Azito Energie SA (‘Azito’) today celebrates the commercial start-up of Phase 3 of its 430 MW combined-cycle gas turbine (‘CCGT’) Power Plant in Abidjan with an onsite inauguration ceremony held in the presence of His Excellency, President Alassane Ouattara, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire.

Azito is now one of the most modern, efficient power plants in West Africa and will provide one-quarter (25%) of Cote d’Ivoire’s current total electricity capacity.

The newly built Phase 3 of the Azito Power Plant adds ten percent (10%) more affordable and reliable electricity to the country.

Including the recent capacity expansion, the total investment in the Azito Power Plant amounts to USD615 million. Phase 3 was financed by shareholder equity, and loans from international and bilateral development agencies.

Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co Ltd, the engineering, procurement and construction contractor, completed the expansion earlier in 2015. During the peak of construction, the plant’s expansion created more than 1,300 jobs of which more than 60% were met by local employment.
